#StackBounty: #calendar Hide birthdays from MS Activesync calendar

Bounty: 50

I’ve a Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) with Android 6.0.1

I’ve added recently my Microsoft Live account to it as MS ActiveSync to be able to synchronize calendar (Samsung S-Planner).

The calendar is synchronized correctly, however I can’t hide birthdays and national holidays.
I want to see only my appointments, and not all those community ones.

For other accounts on my phone I can control synchronization for events / birthdays / Contacts …, however for live account there are only “Calendar” and “Task” options.
Everything is categorized under “Calendar” if it’s on I see everything, otherwise nothing.

(in web access, or MS Outlook on pc I can hide birthdays and holidays correctly).

I’ve searched the web for a solution, however the advice for similar situations was always to go to settings and hide holidays, which option I don’t have.

#StackBounty: #microsoft-outlook #calendar #overlay How can I keep my calendar always on top of shared calendars in Outlook's overl…

Bounty: 50

I am using Outlook 2010 at work. We have a calendar each that we share with other colleagues so that we are aware of each other’s whereabouts. I like the overlay view because it gives me all the information I need in a relatively small space on the screen.

Everything works well appart from one detail: when I open the calendar view, the top calendar is always one of my colleague’s (never mine for some reason).

So I move to my calendar tab, add something, go back to my emails and when I come back to the calendar view, the top calendar is AGAIN one of my colleagues’.

I really wish I could find a way to tell Outlook to stop playing with my nerves like that but I can’t seem to find anything useful on the forums or MS help.

Does anyone know how to keep my calendar on top in overlay view?

What I get (my colleague’s calendar on top):

my colleague's calendar on top

What I would like to get (without having to click on my calendar’s tab before editing):

my calendar on top
