This is very similar to this post but instead of the attachment being located on the local drive I want to attach a file located on the web via URL.
For example, here I’m trying to use the URL for Google’s logo.
C:Program Files (x86)IBMNotes>notes mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org?subject=my test^&body=some text^&attach=https://www.google.com/images/branding/googlelogo/2x/googlelogo_color_92x30dp.png
I get a file does not exist error and it appears to drop
/www.google.com from the URL.
If I add quotes around the URL I get the same error but this time the only thing missing is the double forward slash.
C:Program Files (x86)IBMNotes>notes mailto:email@example.com?subject=my test^&body=some text^&attach="https://www.google.com/images/branding/googlelogo/2x/googlelogo_color_92x30dp.png"
Is there a way to encode the URL?
Currently using Lotus Notes Release 9 Social Edition
